Key Number Invalid

If you see this error message, you may be entering your key number incorrectly.

You only need to enter the digits after your Key Prefix into the Key Number field.

For example, if your key reads: AB12345

AB = Key Prefix located in the drop-down menu

12345 = What you need to enter in the Key Number field

Be sure you are not entering the Date Code (see the green arrows below)

Many New York Locks now have the key number on the key itself.  Key Prefix can be either BB, RB or Z for the Standard or LS sized locks or PP, RP or W for the New York Fahgettaboudit Mini Lock.
