What are the parts of an Integrated Chain?

Kryptonite offers two types of chains, those that come with a disc lock or padlock and those the feature an integrated chain. Look below to find description on parts of an integrated chain:

Lock Body: The piece houses the cylinder

Six-Sided or Round Chain Link: Chains that come a padlock or disc lock have a six sided or round steel chain links. Chains come in varying lengths and thicknesses

Locking Link: This link goes into the lock body and secures the chain directly into the deadbolt

Sliding Dust Cover: protects from dirt and debris (not all locks come with a dustcover)

Nylon Cover: Weather resistant covering protects the chain

Note: For transporting some chains can be put into the Transit Tube-R Chain Carrier or Transit Transport-R Chain Bag and mounted onto your bike frame
