What is so important about the light distribution and beam pattern of the Incite front torch lights?

High lumen lights may blind oncoming drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians, while the Incite torch lights illuminate what’s in front of the rider, while also making them visible to those around them. With a clear cut-off in the light distribution, a homogenous light with good side visibility is offered providing high safety for the rider.

How are these lights more precise than a lumen based light?

With the lux-based Incite Series, simply put you have more light where you actually need it increasing overall safety. Lumens measures the amount of light emitted from a source, but does not address how focused the light is.

What awards has the Incite X8 platform won?

The X8 platform has won numerous awards including the ADAC test (a famous German Automotive club) as well as German Bike Industry websites including E-Bikers. In addition to these test wins, we have received good ratings in special interest magazines.

Do you do impact testing with the Incite Lights?

Lights are dropped from 1 meter on concrete floor. In order to pass our internal requirements, the lights must work without any limitations afterwards.
