Are the Incite lights effective in the day?

Yes. All of the Incite lights have both pulse and flash modes for increased visibility and increased safety for daytime rides.

Can I see the buttons used to operate the Incite X8 in the dark?

Yes. The X8 has backlit buttons for easier operation in the dark.

How do I know if my battery needs charging for my Incite front torch light?

For the Incite X8 the battery symbol is visible on the LCD display. On the Incite X6, the display shows the remaining battery run time and the battery symbol in the display starts flashing when battery capacity is < 20%. For the Incite X3, when there are 3 LEDs illuminated: 50-100 % battery capacity left, 2 LEDs illuminated: 25-50% battery capacity left and when there is 1 LED illuminated: <25 % battery capacity left.

How do I know if my battery needs charging for my Incite rear light?

For the Incite XBR and XR lights, there is an indication LED under the on/off switch. This will turn Red if the battery capacity < 25 %.

With the temperature warning, does the light shut off if it gets too hot or does it just cool down automatically?

A: Light Output is reduced automatically to make sure the inside electronics are not damaged by too high of a temperature – but the light does not shut off and can still be used.

What is the IPX rating for your new Incite lights?

All of the Incite lights meet the IPX4 rating for water resistance.

Do the lights come with a bracket?

Yes. The Incite X8 includes the same easy to use, tool free bracket that we offer on our Street Light Series from torch lights. The Incite X6 and X3 use this same compact bracket but just a smaller version of it. The Incite rear lights – XBR and XR use a new bracket that allows for flexibility in mounting and 180 degree rotation for mounting on the seat stay.

Do the Incite lights come with a USB charging cable?

Yes, all of the front and rear Incite lights come with a USB charging cable.

What is the charge time on the new Incite Lights?

Charging time for the Incite front torch and rear lights averages between 2-5 hrs (see below)

 X3: 3 hrs; X6: 5 hrs; X8: 4.5 hrs

 XR: 2 hrs; XBR: 2 hrs
